This is the personal photoblog of Brandon Stone. I've been involved in photography and blogging since 2001 and web design since 1995. I'm responsible for a few photography websites including Photoblogs.org, Vazaar, WeeklyShot, and the Camerapedia.
I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but many of the photos you'll find here are from my travels in and around London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Boston, California, Arizona, Utah, Virginia, Alabama, etc.
The photos on this site aren't published in any particular order. Sometimes I'll post photos from my archives and other times I'll post ones that I've recently taken. It just depends on my mood at the time. Photos are published sporadically or frequently, depending on how busy my life gets.
This site allows me to share my photos in my own way. I love photo-sharing services like Flickr (where I have several photos, outtakes, and snapshots), but I also enjoy having my own individual photoblog. I like having complete control of my own site and being able to configure and design it any way that I like.
I mainly use a Nikon D70 and a Casio EX-Z850, depending on what I feel like that day. I also have an Olympus XA, but the vast majority of my photos are digital.
Yes. I often use Photoshop.
It's a program that I wrote in PHP/MySQL. It has evolved quite a bit since the first version I started photoblogging with in 2001. This software currently isn't available for download, but I may make it open source some day.
It depends. Please ask first. I need to know how you want to use them before I will give permission.
